CANDIED FRUIT COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. pecans
1/2 c. candied fruit
1 c. candied cherries
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar

Form in rolls, 1 1/2 inch diameter. Wrap and freeze. Stir very thin. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 6 to 8 minutes.
