SWEDISH PUFF PASTRY 
1/4 lb. butter
1 c. flour
1 tbsp. water
1/4 lb. butter
1 c. water, boiling
1 c. flour
3 eggs
1 tsp. almond extract

Mix first three ingredients as pastry. Pat into pan in ring shape, leaving center open. For topping, add butter to boiling water, remove from heat and add flour, blending well. Add eggs one at a time, blend well, add extract. Pat topping on crust, spreading evenly over entire crust. Bake until light brown at 400 degrees for approximately 45 minutes. Frost with light butter frosting. Top with flaked coconut.
