|CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS|
1 chicken boiled and bones
1/2 gallon milk and chicken broth
Salt and pepper
Put in large baking pan. Bring to a boil.
3 c. flour
1/2 c. Crisco
Salt and enough water for a very stiff dough.
Roll like pie crust. Cut and drop into chicken mixture. Place into 350 oven and bake until brown on top. DO NOT stir. Optional: break whole egg into pan of dumpling before putting in oven.
