|OLD TIME CHICKEN SOUP|
1 carrot, thinly sliced
1 c. celery, chopped
1 pkg. noodles or use homemade ones
Wash, cut up fryer, put in pot and cover with water. Cook tender. Remove fryer from broth. Strain broth and return to pot. Cut up chicken and return to broth. Let come to boil. Add carrot and celery. Add noodles. Cook until noodles are tender. You may have to add some water if needed. May add butter if you want a richer soup.
