|SHARA'S PHILLY CHEESE DOGS WITH FRENCH|
12 oz frozen steak-cut French fries
3 tbsp. butter at room temp
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 onion, sliced
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
4 soft hoagie or hot dog rolls, split
4 large hot dogs
1/2 cup Cheez Whiz from 15 oz jar, heated. chopped fresh parsley for garnish.
Preheat oven to 450°F. Bake fries as directed on package. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon butter. Add peppers, onion, and oregano. Cook, stirring occasionally until tender, about 10 minutes.
In a small bowl, combine garlic powder and 2 tablespoon butter, brush over split sides of rolls. Heat grill over medium-high heat. Grill rolls, split side down until toasted, reserve. Remove pepper mix from skillet, reserve.
Add hot dogs to skillet. Cook, turning until heated through 4-5 minutes. Place hot dogs in rolls. Top with reserved pepper mix and Cheez Whiz. Sprinkle with parsley, serve with fries.
