GINGER SPARKLE COOKIES 
2 c. sifted flour
1 tbsp. ginger
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. shortening
1 c. granulated sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. molasses

Form into balls. Roll in sugar. Don't flatten. Bake 12 to 15 minutes. Done when golden brown and cracked on top.
