DATE LOAF CANDY 
2 c. sugar
3/4 c. milk
1 tbsp. white Karo
1/2 c. dates, chopped
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Mix sugar, milk and Karo. Boil 2 minutes and add dates. Cook and stir until a little dropped in water forms a soft ball.

When done add nuts and beat until creamy. Pour candy on a wet cloth that has been wrung almost dry. Knead into a loaf. Slice as wanted.
