1 punch bowl
1 pound cake or angel food cake
4 to 5 cans cherry pie filling
3 lg. pkgs. instant vanilla pudding
2 to 3 lg. Cool Whips
2 (8 oz.) Philadelphia cream cheese

First - Mix pudding according to box directions (canned milk may be used). Allow to set up.

Second - Cream the Philadelphia cream cheese and fold in part or all Cool Whip.

Third - Put dessert together in layers:

1st - 1/3 pudding in the bottom of punch bowl. 2nd - 1 inch slices of cake on top of pudding. 3rd - cherry pie filling around the edges so they can be seen through the bowl. 4th - Cool Whip mixture. 5th - Repeat pudding, then cake, then cheery filling, then Cool Whip. Continue until the bowl is full and decorate the top with cherry filling and Cool Whip.
