|GROUND BEEF STROGANOFF|
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
3 tbsp. dried minced onion (or 1 lg. onion, minced)
1 garlic clove, crushed & minced
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Saute together in skillet until ground beef is cooked. Drain.
Make sauce of: 1/4 c. flour 3 tbsp. tomato paste 1 (10 oz.) can beef consomme soup 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Blend all together. Pour over meat mixture. Cook, stirring until it begins to bubble. Reduce heat and cook 10 minutes. 6 servings. OPTIONAL: Add 1/4 cup sherry just before serving. Serve over rice.
