CREAM CHEESE POUND CAKE 
3 sticks butter
8 oz. cream cheese
3 c. sugar
3 c. cake flour, sifted
6 eggs
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 c. candied cherries, chopped
1 c. dates, chopped

Cream butter and sugar - add cream cheese that is room temperature. Add eggs one at a time. Gradually add flour reserving a small amount. Dredge fruit and nuts in remaining flour and add to mixture. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

For delicious pound cake leave out fruit and nuts.
