IRISH ITALIAN SPAGHETTI 
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped (optional)
2 tbsp. salad or olive oil
1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
Dash of red pepper
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1 (10 1/2 or 11 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed tomato soup
1 (8 oz.) pkg. long spaghetti
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Brown onion and garlic in hot oil; add meat add seasonings; brown lightly. Cover, simmer 10 minutes. Add soups; cover and simmer 45 minutes, stir occasionally. Cook spaghetti in boiling salted water until tender. Drain and rinse with hot water. Arrange on hot platter. Pour sauce over spaghetti. Sprinkle with cheese. Serves 4 to 6.
