LONDON CHICKEN 
2 to 4 tbsp. butter
1/2 lb. sliced mushrooms
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 can mushroom soup
1/4 c. white wine
2 whole chicken breasts (split)
4 whole chicken legs

This is inexpensive and easy for a group. Brown chicken in butter. Remove chicken to large casserole. Brown mushrooms in butter left in fry pan. Mix soups undiluted and pour over chicken. Place mushrooms on top. (Can be refrigerated at this point till next day, if desired.) When ready to bake, add wine. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. The soups and wine make a wonderful gravy. Good on mashed potatoes. Serves 6 to 8. Can be halved.
