CHOCOLATE DROP COOKIES WITH MOCHA
FROSTING
 
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 sq. semi sweet chocolate, melted
1 2/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. nuts

MOCHA CHOCOLATE FROSTING:

6 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. hot coffee
6 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. confectioners sugar

Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg, vanilla and melted chocolate. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk. Drop on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.

Combine ingredients for frosting, beating well. Frost cooled cookies.
