PIE CRUST USING VINEGAR 
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
1 c. shortening (Crisco)
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. vinegar
4 tbsp. water

Combine flour, salt and sugar. Cut in shortening with pastry blender. Add egg, vinegar and water and mix together. Separate into two or three portions. Roll out between pieces of waxed paper. Pull waxed paper off top. Position in pie pan, waxed paper side up. Pull off waxed paper. Dough can be frozen, thawed and rolled out as needed.
