|NANNY'S CHEESE SOUP|
2 c. diced potatoes
2 c. diced celery
2 c. diced carrots
1 c. chopped onion
6 slices bacon
1 (16 oz.) can cream style corn
1 (16 oz.) jar Cheez Whiz
4 tbsp. butter
Approximately 4 c. chicken broth or 4 c. water plus 4-5 chicken bouillon cubes
Place potatoes in chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then simmer over medium heat until potatoes are done. Slice bacon and cook over medium heat until done. Add butter, onion and celery, saute until tender. Add this to your potatoes. Also add carrots. Let cook until carrots are tender. Add the can of cream style corn and stir.
Now add the jar of Cheez Whiz until all is melted. Let simmer and serve. You may want to add more or less vegetables according to your preference.
