BAKED SLICED POTATOES 
Clean and cut 4 large baking potatoes into 1/4-inch slices. Place in 13 x 9 baking dish, overlapping each slice. Mix 1/4 cup butter (melted) and 1/4 cup salad oil. Brush slices with mixture.

Pour remaining over potatoes. Sprinkle with 2 teaspoons garlic salt, 1/2 to 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves. Bake at 400 degrees for 25- 30 minutes or until potatoes are done and browned at the edges.

Delicious served with broiled steaks or hamburgers, tossed salad, and crusty bread.
