EASY BROWN SUGAR CANDY 
6 tbsp. butter
8 tsp. milk, evaporated is best
1 c. brown sugar
2 c. confectioners sugar, sifted
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or cashews preferably)

Cook butter, milk and brown sugar until dissolved. Remove from heat and stir in confectioners sugar and vanilla. Stir in nuts, if desired. Pour into a greased dish. When almost set, cut into small squares.
