Orange juice or crushed pineapple
Peel yams and cut into serving size pieces. Boil until fork tender. Drain. Put yams in baking dish, dot generously with butter then generously add brown sugar and cinnamon. Pour orange juice over yams. Bake at 350 degrees until nice and bubbly. Put marshmallows on top and bake until marshmallows melt and its browned to your liking. Variation: Use crushed pineapple with juice from can instead of orange juice.
