POT PIE NOODLES 
2 eggs, beaten
2 tbsp. cream
1 tsp. melted shortening
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Flour to make a stiff dough

Roll on floured board, very thin. Cut in strips and then in squares. Boil about 20 minutes.

NOTE FROM AUNT FANNIE: This is the way Mommy made her pot pie noodles for chicken pot pie. These noodles are for pot pie made with chicken pieces, some cut-up fine potatoes, a few pieces of celery. Make sure you have plenty of broth to cook the noodles in. Put in parsley.

Mommy always guessed, but it was always good. A chicken will go a long way in feeding a group of people this way. We were lucky to live on a farm and had our own milk from our cows and eggs from our chickens. So had chickens to eat once in awhile. We didn't eat too many eggs, as that was one thing we could sell even if they were down to 10 and 12 cents a dozen.
