3 lg. apples
3 lg. oranges
1 sm. pineapple
1 sm. melon
1 pt. strawberries
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. water
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
2 cinnamon sticks
1/2 tsp. whole cloves, whole allspice
1/2 c. Kirsch

In small saucepan combine sugar, water, cinnamon and lemon juice. Tie cloves and allspice in bag and add. Bring to boil and simmer 5 minutes. Remove and cool. Remove spices and add kirsch.

Peel apples in 3/4 inch chunks. Peel oranges and separate. Peel and cut pineapple (approximately 2 cups of each fruit). Pour marinade over fruit and cover, chill several hours or overnight. Add strawberries before serving. You can use any type fruit you wish. If you use banana, add with strawberries.
