GLAZED ALMONDS 
1 c. whole almonds
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Before you begin, spread aluminum foil over even surface. In heavy skillet, melt butter, add sugar and almond. Cook over medium-low heat stirring constantly until sugar is golden brown and almonds are coated about 15 to 20 minutes. When mixture becomes liquidy, remove from heat, add vanilla and mix well. IMMEDIATELY spread on aluminum foil. Allow to cool completely. Break into bite-size clusters.
