CRISCO POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. plain flour
1 c. milk (evaporated)
5 lg. eggs
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. vanilla flavor

Cream butter, sugar and Crisco together. Mix eggs, one at a time. Sift all dry ingredients together. Add to cream mixture and flavor. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
