EASY CHOCOLATE OATMEAL COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. granulated sugar
1 egg
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 sq. chocolate, melted
1 1/2 c. oats
1 tsp. vanilla
pecans (halves)

Cream butter and sugar; add egg and beat until fluffy. Add cooled melted chocolate, then sifted flour, salt and baking powder. Add oats and vanilla. Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheets; press a pecan half on top of each.

Bake at 375°F. Don't brown.
