HOMEMADE DUMPLINGS (FOR SOUP) 
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. sugar
Salt to taste

Mix all ingredients well and drop by spoonfuls into hot, boiling soup. Cover the kettle and steam until done. DO NOT LIFT COVER FOR 10 MINUTES.
