POPPY SEED TURNOVERS 
PASTRY:

2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. poppy seeds
2/3 c. shortening
6 tbsp. cold water

FILLING:

1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. onion, minced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. accent
2/3 can cream of chicken soup, reserving remaining soup

Sift flour and salt; fold in poppy seeds. Cut in shortening. Add water and blend to hold together. Roll out to thickness of pie crust. Cut into 8 squares.

Brown ground beef and add rest of ingredients. Fill pastry squares and fold over into turnovers. Bake in 425 degree oven for 20 minutes. Dilute remaining soup for gravy.
