WHITE CHRISTMAS COOKIES CUT OUTS 
1 3/4 c. sugar
2-3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. lard or butter
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking flour
Flour to roll (about 2-4 c.)

Mix together. Chill about 30-45 minutes. Roll out on floured surface. Cut with cookie cutters. Bake until bottom is lightly browned at 350 degrees.

FROSTING:

1 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Mix together until smooth. Makes about 3 cups.
