ROLLED WHEAT BARS 
1 1/3 sticks butter
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. white sugar
1 egg
2/3 c. flour
2/3 c. Quaker oats

TOPPING:

4 oz. chocolate bits
1/3 stick butter

Cream butter, sugar and egg. Add flour and oats. Spread in greased 8 x 8 inch pan. Bake 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees.

Topping: Melt in double boiler; spread on bars as soon as they come out of the oven. Cool and cut.
