PICKLED GREEN TOMATO 
2 qt. water
1 1/3 c. vinegar (distilled)
1/3 c. salt
1 lg. head garlic
1/2 tsp. alum
Tomatoes, green
2 c. fresh dill weed
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper

In gallon jar fill 3/4 way with small to medium tomatoes. Add salt, garlic, alum and dill weed. In medium pot boil 2 quarts water with vinegar for approximately 5 minutes. Let cool. Pour water and vinegar into jar. Cover and let set for 1 week.
