MANHATTAN CLAM CHOWDER 
2 cans minced clams
3 slices bacon
1 lg. onion
2 c. raw diced potatoes
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped
2 c. cut carrots
Salt & Pepper
Thyme, Tabasco & butter

Chop bacon and onion. Saute. Add clams and juice. Add vegetables. Simmer until potatoes are tender. Add 3 tablespoons butter. Add salt, pepper, thyme and Tabasco to taste.
