OLD-FASHIONED BAKED HAM 
7 lb. sugar-cured ham
1/2 bottle Karo pancake syrup
1/2 c. coca cola
Cloves

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Remove skin from ham. Make gashes across in diamond shapes across fat and stud with cloves. Pour syrup, then coca cola over ham. Cover with foil and bake from 3 to 4 hours (15 minutes per pound). This cooks out the salt in the ham.
