CHICKEN STEW (AUSTRALIA) 
8 drumsticks or thighs
2 breasts
4 lg. potatoes, cut in lg. cubes
3 quartered fresh tomatoes
2 med. green peppers, cut in lg. pieces
1 med. onion, diced
Salt & pepper
Paprika
3 tbsp. butter

Salt and pepper chicken pieces, then sprinkle with paprika. Brown chicken in butter. Put in Dutch oven, cover with 2 quarts water. Add all remaining ingredients except for the potatoes. Simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Add potatoes and cook for 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Serve hot in bowls. A crisp salad and hot French bread will complete the meal.
