CHERRY SAUCE FOR HAM OR PORK 
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
Dash of salt
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Dash of ground cloves
1/3 c. orange juice
1 (16 oz.) can undrained tart pie cherries

In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, salt. Stir in juices, cherries, and seasonings. Cook and stir over medium heat until thick and bubbly. Cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes more. Serve warm with ham or pork. Makes 2 2/3 cups sauce.
