1 loaf frozen bread dough
3 lbs. sauerkraut
8 slices fat bacon, diced
1 onion, chopped
1-2 tbsp. caraway seed
2 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp. milk
2-3 tbsp. sour cream (optional)
Salt and pepper

Rinse kraut if salty. Drain and fry bacon; chop fine. Add onion and saute until light brown. Add kraut, salt, pepper, and caraway seed. Cover and let steam 10-15 minutes. Stir occasionally. If juicy, mix flour with milk until thickened. Spread on bread and bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees or until crust is crisp.
