MAINE BLUEBERRY CAKE 
2 1/2 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter or shortening
1 egg, unbeaten
1/2 c. milk
2 c. blueberries (Fresh)
1 c. sugar

Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg. Mix dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture alternating with milk. (If batter seems too stiff add a little more milk. Fold in blueberries. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 45 minutes in lightly greased 9" or larger pan.
