|SODA CRACKER COOKIES|
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter
12 oz. chocolate chips
Combine butter and brown sugar and boil for 3 minutes. Line an 11x15 inch jelly roll pan with foil; cover with a layer of soda crackers. Pour brown sugar mixture over crackers and spread evenly.
Bake at 400°F for 5 minutes.
Sprinkle with chocolate chips and return to ove to melt. Spread with spatula and refrigerate. Nuts may be added to brown sugar mixture or sprinkled on top. When cool, break into pieces.
Cooks Note: Mint chocolate chips are great in this recipe!
