|UNBAKED CHEESE PIE|
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. Philadelphia cream cheese
1 (3 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese
1 pt. whipping cream
2 pkgs. lady fingers
3/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
Grated rind from 1/2 lemon
Comstock (canned) pie filling, any flavor
Line springform pan with lady fingers, sides and bottom. Have cream cheese at room temperature. Beat until soft and creamy. Add sugar, vanilla and lemon rind.
In a chilled bowl whip chilled cream until thick. Cut in, then blend very lightly into cheese mixture thoroughly. Spread into springform pan and cover with chosen topping (not too much). Insert toothpicks to hold up Saran covering before refrigerating.
