HOMEMADE FRENCH TOAST 
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
3 tbsp. shortening
4-5 slices bread

Break eggs into a bowl. Beat the eggs. Stir in the milk and salt. Heat the shortening in a pan. Dip the bread slices in egg mixture. Place bread in the pan. Brown it on both sides.
