COUNTRY STEAK AND CHILI GRAVY 
2 lb. steak, cut into serving pieces
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. water
1 c. corn flakes, finely crushed
1/4 c. Wesson oil
1 tsp. chili powder
1 med. onion, sliced
1 med. pepper, sliced
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
3/4 c. water

Mix salt, pepper, chili powder and corn flakes together and set aside. Beat egg with water. Dip round steak into egg mixture and roll in corn flake mixture and brown in skillet in the 1/4 cup oil. Put sliced onions and green peppers over the top of the meat. Add the tomato sauce with the water. Pour over the to of all. Cover and cook for 1 1/4 hours on low.
