1 c. butter
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs lightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and peanut butter until well blended. Add sugars, cream until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, salt and baking soda. Gradually add to creamed mixture; blend well. Roll dough into 1 inch balls. Place balls 2 inches apart on a large baking sheet. Press with tines of fork to flatten. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes or until golden. Cool on a wire rack.
