OLD - FASHIONED BEEF STEW 
2 1/2 to 3 lbs. stewing beef
1/4 c. all-purpose flour, seasoned with salt
1 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. oil
1 c. bouillon (beef)
1 c. water
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
4 to 6 c. carrots, potatoes & whole onions

Coat meat with seasoned flour. Brown with chopped onions in oil in large skillet. Add bouillon, water and Worcestershire sauce; cover and simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Add vegetables and simmer 30 minutes or until tender.
