8 strips bacon
4 lg. onions, sliced
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cider vinegar
2 (15 oz.) cans dried lima beans, drained
1 (1 lb.) can green lima beans drained
1 (1 lb.) can dark red kidney beans, drained
1 (1 lb. 11 oz.) jar New England-style baked beans

Fry bacon in skillet until crisp. Drain on paper towels and crumble. Set aside. Place onions in large skillet and add sugar, mustard, garlic powder, salt and vinegar. Cover and cook 20 minutes. Add onion mixture and bacon to the beans. Pour into 3 quart casserole. Cover. Bake in 350 degree oven. Uncover. Bake 30 minutes more. Makes 12 servings.

NOTE: Pork & Beans can substitute for New England style beans. Enjoy!
