1 c. flour
1/2 c. salt
1 tbsp. oil
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. water
Food coloring

Mix together all ingredients. Cook mixture over low heat until thickened. Store in closed container when not in use.

NOTE: This is a better quality play dough than the store bought and cheaper too.
