1 1/2 c. chicken broth 1 c. thinly sliced carrots 1/2 c. barley 1 (8 oz.) can kidney beans, drained 1/4 c. chopped onion 1/4 c. parsley 3 tbsp. bulger; optional 1/8 tsp. garlic powder 1/4 c. shredded cheese Mix all together except cheese. Put in 1 quart dish. Bake, covered at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Uncover, sprinkle on cheese. Return to oven to melt cheese. Serves 4 as a main dish, 6 as a side dish. |
