1 lb. ground beef 1/2 chopped onion 1 1/2 c. shredded sharp cheese 1/2 tsp. salt 4 beaten eggs 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 (4 oz.) cans green chili 1 1/2 c. milk 1/4 c. flour Dash pepper Several dashes hot pepper In skillet, brown beef and onions, drain off fat, sprinkle meat with the first 1/2 teaspoon of salt and the 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Place half the chilies over meat. Combine remaining ingredients and beat until smooth. Pour over meat and chili mixture. Bake in 350 degree oven 45-50 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes. Cut in squares and serve. Makes 6 servings. |
