POUND CANDY
 

1 lb. butter
1 lb. granulated sugar (2 c.)
1 lb. chopped pecans
1 lb. plain milk chocolate Hershey candy bar broken into pieces

Butter well a 9 x 13 inch pan or cookie sheet. Cook butter and sugar together until hard crack stage. Line buttered pan with chopped pecans. Pour on the butter-sugar syrup. Spread with pieces of Hershey candy bar. Let chocolate melt, then spread evenly. Cool. Break or cut into pieces.
