1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 sticks butter
6 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon flavoring

Cream butter and sugar in mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs; mix well. Add flour and flavorings. Pour into tube pan and bake at 300 degrees for 30-40 minutes. This is a small pound cake so you need to watch the cooking time. This recipe can also be doubled for a larger cake.
