NELL'S PINEAPPLE POUND CAKE
 

8 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. sugar
Dash salt
2 c. Crisco
1 sm. can crushed pineapple
3 c. plain flour

Cream Crisco and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each one. Add flour and salt gradually. Stir in vanilla and crushed pineapple. Bake in greased tube pan at 350 degrees for one hour.

GLAZE FOR PINEAPPLE POUND CAKE:

1 box 4X sugar
1/2 stick butter
Orange juice

Cream 4X sugar and butter. Add enough orange juice to spreading consistency.
