1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
3 Golden Delicious apples, peeled, cored, diced to measure 3 c.
1 c. chopped black walnuts and pecans

Cream butter until light; gradually add sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Sift together flour, soda, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon. Gradually add to egg mixture. Stir in apples and nuts. Turn into 9 x 13 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake 45 to 50 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Cut into squares.
