2 c. all purpose flour 2 c. sugar 2 eggs, beaten 2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1 c. chopped nuts 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice, undrained Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together flour and sugar in a large bowl. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour mixture into an ungreased 9 x 13 baking dish. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Cool completely before topping. Serve topped with fresh, canned or frozen fruit, confectioners sugar or Cream Cheese Frosting. CREAM CHEESE FROSTING: 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1 (4 oz.) stick butter 1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar 1 tsp. vanilla extract Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
