BAKERY ICING
 

3 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. vegetable shortening
2 egg whites
1/4 tsp. salt
Few drops flavoring

Cream half of the powdered sugar with shortening. Beat egg whites until stiff; add salt, flavoring and rest of sugar. Combine with shortening and sugar mixture. Keeps for a very long time in the refrigerator.
